He thought he'd never be anything more than a small-time crook. He was set up, shot, left for dead.
But he was given a second chance - he got a wife, had a daughter, became a new man.
Then he woke up.
Having been in a coma for four years, he wakes to a living hell. The CEO of one of the world's most powerful companies has addicted the world to a deadly drug which simulates love, and needs his help to take it to the next level ... help he's willing to kill for.
Then he discovers that the wife he's dreamed out is real. But she's married to another man. He must fight to take down the CEO's entire empire, while figuring out what's real, and what sort of man he really is.
I wrote Dream Before Dying after a friend asked why there weren't many intelligent action films being written. I took the challenge and wrote this. I think of it as sort of a modern noir. It's slightly surreal at times, and stars a hero who simply never stops, never gives up, never dies.
